At our 2-day freeride camps as part of the Ortovox Safety Academy you will not only surf brilliantly through the powder, your mountain guide will also show you the correct and safe behaviour in the terrain. You will get more safety know-how and improve your skiing skills at the same time!

REQUIREMENTS:
safe and fast skiing on red and black pistes
Experience in skiing on mogul pistes, ski routes and in the tracked area close to the piste.

COURSE CONTENT:
Correct skiing technique, speed and choice of tracks in the terrain
Skiing lines and terrain shapes in easy and intermediate terrain
Lift accessible area, possibly with short ascents
Interpretation of avalanche reports, snow and avalanche awareness, tour planning
Handling the avalanche transceiver, rules of conduct in the group
