Training BASIC

The right equipment is a must on the mountain, but without a sound knowledge of how to use it, you are helpless in an emergency. The Avalanche Training Basic provides you with the necessary basic knowledge. The focus is on everything to do with tour planning and correct behaviour in the terrain. You will get an overview of equipment, snow and avalanche awareness and tactical assessment methods that will help you to plan your day on the mountain safely in advance. By practising with the latest ORTOVOX safety technology, you will learn essential rules about avalanche search and correct behaviour in the event of an avalanche.
