Snowshoe tour Gurgler Gorge
This attractive, short half-day tour starts in the centre of the village, follows the frozen course of the Gurgler Ache and leads through sections of the Gurgler Schlucht gorge to the Zirbenalm. This tour is ideal for beginners to snowshoeing and can also be done in bad weather. The tour can even be undertaken on windy days as it is protected from the wind.
TIP:
This tour is a fixed part of our weekly programme and takes place every Wednesday afternoon!
Availability:
From December to the end of March daily by pre-booking.

Snowshoes and ski poles are included.

Snowshoe tour Schönwieskopf
all day tour
Experience a wonderful, scenically impressive snowshoe tour from the Zirbenalm through the Gurgler Schlucht gorge and the light-flooded Zirrach to the Gurgler Almhütte, followed by an ascent to the summit of the Schönwieskopf. The descent takes you to the Schönwieshütte and further along the winter hiking trail through the stone pine forest back to Obergurgl. This full-day tour with snowshoes is also possible in bad weather and offers marvellous views of Obergurgl and the Rotmoostal valley.
TIP:
The Gurgl Gorge and the Zirrach are an absolute must for lovers of unspoilt natural landscapes.
The tour can be booked daily on request from December to the end of March.
