Length:

1 day

Difficulty:

Participants

1-3 Persons

Fantastic high Alpine ski tour to the beautifully shaped summit with magnificent views of the other numerous ice giants of the Ötztal Alps in the Gurgler Kamm. You can see almost the entire touring area to the west of Obergurgl. Great steep descent from the summit in safe conditions for good and experienced skiers.

TIP:
By using the Festkogelbahn, we save a good 500 metres of piste access and start the day with a 200-metre descent.
TIP 2:
For those who love steep descents, a short walk can be taken through a 400-metre-high couloir into the Ferwall Valley when using the Festkogelbahn and Plattachbahn. This results in a total descent of 2000 metres with an ascent of 1000 metres.

Walking time:
Obergurgl – summit: approx. 5 hours
Festkogelbahn mountain station – summit: approx. 3.5 hours
Altitude:
